SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability is really important for us and is the reason why we founded our brand. Wedocare- we care for our environment, for human rights and animals. We love our nature and want to do everything to protect it.

We are far away from being perfect but we try our best to work and produce as sustainable and fair as possible.

One big problem of the fashion industry is the wastage of clothes. Brands produce too much and burn or throw away what they can‘t sell. We try to work different. We produce after your order. This may cause a little longer shipping time but we avoid overproduction and the waste of usable clothes.

In addition to that, we look at the quality, to make sure that you can keep your clothes long if you treat them right.

Our clothes are certified by different seals. They make sure that the production is fair and sustainable, at least in comparison to common brands.

Furthermore, we donate 10% of our profit to the Organisation Project Wings. They care for sustainable development on Sumatra. One of their projects is to build a village out of collected plastic from the rainforest. If you want to learn more about their work, check out their homepage. https://www.project-wings.de

Of course all of that is still not perfect- we know that. But we try to be as sustainable and also as transparent as possible. If you have any questions or recommendations about our sustainability- just ask or tell us  wedocare@gmx.de :)

CERTIFICATION

In purchasing, we rely on certificates, which isn't always easy since we can't verify the claims ourselves. However, we trust these certificates and are confident that the information they provide is accurate. You can find out which specific pieces have which certifications in our shop. When you view a product, you’ll see the relevant certificates displayed alongside the photos.

One of the most important certifications is the Fair Wear Certificate. This organization works closely with manufacturing companies to improve working conditions, wages, and combat gender-based violence. It also helps workers organize and advocate for their rights.

Other certifications ensure the exclusive use of organic cotton or recycled materials. Additionally, they guarantee that no animal testing was conducted and that no genetically modified materials were used.

If you want to learn more about these certifications, simply click on the icons at the end of this text.
